Parkinson\u2019s is the world\u2019s fastest-growing neurological disease, with some of the world\u2019s highest rates in Canada \u2013 and it is growing quickly. Our mission is to transform the lives of People Living with Parkinson&rsquo;s through:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Research<\/strong> leading to the end of Parkinson&rsquo;s<\/li>\n<li><strong>Advocacy<\/strong> bringing the voices of Parkinson&rsquo;s to the forefront<\/li>\n<li><strong>Support<\/strong> helping people living with Parkinson&rsquo;s live well through education<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The <a href=\"https:\/\/archiveparkinson.thedev.ca\/about-us\/parkinson-advisory-council\/\">Parkinson Advisory Council (PAC)<\/a> contributes to furthering the Parkinson Canada mission by advising the CEO, to ensure the voices of people living with Parkinson\u2019s, and those affected by Parkinson\u2019s, are integrated throughout the organization.<\/p>\n<p>The PAC is a critical driver of having people affected by Parkinson\u2019s at the centre of Parkinson Canada\u2019s work.\u00a0<strong>Currently, there are three (3) openings for membership on the PAC<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><a class=\"park-red-btn\" href=\"https:\/\/archiveparkinson.thedev.ca\/listing\/parkinson-advisory-council-volunteer\/\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Learn more about PAC and apply here<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Parkinson Canada believes in a better life today for People Living with Parkinson\u2019s, and a world without Parkinson\u2019s tomorrow.
