{"id":38200,"date":"2022-09-12T15:25:31","date_gmt":"2022-09-12T19:25:31","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.parkinson.ca\/?p=38200"},"modified":"2022-09-12T15:25:31","modified_gmt":"2022-09-12T19:25:31","slug":"dine-with-eggs-festival-from-tastetoronto-and-burnbrae-farms-returns-this-september-in-support-of-parkinson-canada","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archiveparkinson.thedev.ca\/fr\/dine-with-eggs-festival-from-tastetoronto-and-burnbrae-farms-returns-this-september-in-support-of-parkinson-canada\/","title":{"rendered":"Dine with Eggs festival from TasteToronto and Burnbrae Farms returns this September in support of Parkinson Canada"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><a href=\"http:\/\/tastetoronto.com\">TasteToronto<\/a> is once again partnering with Canadian, family-owned and operated <a href=\"https:\/\/www.burnbraefarms.com\/en\/\">Burnbrae Farms<\/a> for the second annual <a href=\"http:\/\/tastetoronto.com\/dinewitheggs\">Dine with Eggs<\/a> campaign which sees 30 top restaurants across Toronto including <strong>The Broadview Hotel<\/strong>, <strong>Bar Koukla<\/strong>, <strong>Maha\u2019s Restaurant<\/strong> and <strong>PAI<\/strong> serve up specialty dishes featuring eggs in support of Parkinson Canada.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For six weeks, from September 12, 2022 until October 24, 2022, patrons can tour many of Toronto\u2019s favourite restaurants to dig in on each eatery\u2019s unique egg-inspired featured item, from the seasonally inspired 63\u00b0 Egg from The Broadview Hotel, to rich custard based ice cream, and certified breakfast classics, all made with Burnbrae Farms\u2019 eggs. Diners can <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/tastetoronto.com\/dinewitheggs\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">vote<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> on their favourite and be entered to win an ultimate grand prize Whistler winter getaway for two including flights, accommodations, choice of skiing or snowmobiling, and dinner.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">For every featured egg dish purchased during the dining collective, Burnbrae Farms will make a <strong>donation of $1 to Parkinson Canada<\/strong>, an organization that improves the lives of Canadians living with Parkinson\u2019s, the world\u2019s fastest growing neurological disease.\u00a0<\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"><br \/>\n<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cOne of our core beliefs is as a community, we\u2019re stronger together,\u201d said Karen Lee, PhD, president and CEO, Parkinson Canada. \u201cCanada has one of the highest prevalence rates of Parkinson\u2019s globally, making partnerships like these so valuable. Together we can support the 100,000 Canadians living with Parkinson\u2019s and help find a cure.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Burnbrae Farms has a long history of working with community organizations to support those in need. In 2020 alone, Burnbrae Farms donated 3.6 million eggs, one of nature\u2019s most nutritious foods, to 3,000 Canadians in need.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cPartnering with the tastemakers at TasteToronto allows us to show the fun and creative ways to include eggs in a healthy diet,\u201d said Margaret Hudson, president, Burnbrae Farms. \u201cWhile raising money for a disease affecting 100,000 Canadians today.
