The release of the Canadian edition of Every Victory Counts<\/span>\u00ae<\/span> in July 2022 has reached thousands of Canadians impacted by Parkinson\u2019s already. With this Canadianized resource in hand, people are taking charge of their wellness and finding creative ways to improve their quality of life while living with Parkinson\u2019s.<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0If you missed the release of this <\/span>foundational manual for Canadians living with Parkinson\u2019<\/span>s<\/span><\/a>, here\u2019s what you need to know:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Canadian edition of the manual is accompanied by the ever-useful worksheets like the medication log, wellness self-assessment, goal summary, and many others. These worksheets are available digitally and are easily printed for those who prefer to work with hard copies. \u00a0<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s incredibly helpful to work through the book and the worksheets together in the group,\u201d says Davis Phinney Ambassador and support group facilitator Doug Pickard. \u201cOften times it\u2019s a struggle to get speakers to come to support groups and when they do join, the support group environment changes and we lose that interplay where everyone is talking and sharing. \u00a0So, now that we have the Canadian edition, we work through the manual one chapter and worksheet at a time.\u201d<\/span>\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

The Canadian Edition of Every Victory Counts<\/h3>\n

Since its release <\/span>two<\/span> months ago<\/span><\/span><\/a>, <\/span>more than <\/span>5,500<\/strong> Canadians have accessed our website for the purpose of exploring this resource, <\/span>more than <\/span>1,700 <\/span><\/strong>copies have been shipped to the homes of Canadians and more than <\/span>3,0<\/span>00 <\/span><\/strong>digital copie<\/span>s were downloaded by Canadians to their <\/span>favourite<\/span> devices.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n
