Within just a few short days, her tweet <\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">\u201c<\/span><span data-contrast=\"none\">Parkinson\u2019s Disease can\u2019t stop me from dancing\u201d had received over 15,000 views.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Even more amazingly, many other people living with Parkinson\u2019s began replying by posting videos of themselves dancing. What started as an optimistic and defiant tweet against Parkinson\u2019s had become a mini-internet sensation. This gave Barbara an idea. Together, with founding PD Avenger member, Richelle Flanagan, <\/span><b><span data-contrast=\"none\">Dopamine dance against PD<\/span><\/b><span data-contrast=\"none\"> was born.<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">To raise awareness about Parkinson\u2019s and World Parkinson\u2019s Day you\u2019re invited to participate in the Dopamine Dance online. Whether you\u2019re a person living with Parkinson\u2019s, care partner or just want to help the cause, take a video of yourself busting out your greatest dance moves and post them on social media starting on April 3 until World Parkinson\u2019s day on April 11.\u00a0<\/span><span data-ccp-props=\"{&quot;201341983&quot;:0,&quot;335559739&quot;:160,&quot;335559740&quot;:259}\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span data-contrast=\"none\">Dance is a powerful form of self-expression and has even been linked to benefits for people living with Parkinson\u2019s disease.
