It is the cornerstone of what we do as the largest non-government funder of Parkinson\u2019s research in Canada.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\">\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cihr-irsc.gc.ca\/e\/8602.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Canadian Institutes of Health Research (CIHR):<\/a><\/strong><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.cihr-irsc.gc.ca\/e\/8602.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Institute of Neuroscience, Mental Health and Addiction (INMHA)<\/a><\/strong>. PSC is partnering with INMHA to fund psychosocial research, offering two-year research grants ($100,000) and doctoral awards ($44,000).<\/li>\n<li><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.alzheimer.ca\/english\/research\/resprog-rfa-cogimpair.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener nofollow\">Research Program on Care Practice in Cognitive Impairment in Agin<\/a><\/strong><strong>g<\/strong>. PSC is participating in this joint initiative led by <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cihr-irsc.gc.ca\/e\/8671.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CIHR\u2019s Institute of Aging<\/a>. Additional partners include the Alzheimer Society of Canada, Canadian Home Care Association, Canadian Nurses Foundation, the CIHR Institute of Circulatory and Respiratory Health, the CIHR Institute of Health Services and Policy Research, and the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Canada.
