{"id":665,"date":"2008-12-01T12:04:31","date_gmt":"2008-12-01T17:04:31","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/parkinson.netfirms.com\/epp_e\/?p=665"},"modified":"2008-12-01T12:04:31","modified_gmt":"2008-12-01T17:04:31","slug":"new-collective-generates-big-research-investment","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/archiveparkinson.thedev.ca\/fr\/new-collective-generates-big-research-investment\/","title":{"rendered":"New collective generates big research investment"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\">Parkinson Society Canada\u2019s leadership, in bringing neurological charities together, has resulted in the establishment of Neurological Health Charities Canada (NHCC), a new collective of 15 organizations that represent Canadians with chronic, often progressive, brain diseases, disorders and injuries.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\">NHCC\u2019s role is to provide leadership, evaluating and advancing new opportunities for collaboration specific to advocacy, education and research projects, related to brain health. The collective is already having an impact.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\"><span lang=\"EN-CA\">The Conservative Party of Canada has agreed to provide $15 million for a four-year study of Canadians with illnesses such as Parkinson\u2019s disease.
